Mitsuki Leong won the men’s singles title at the 2026 CIMB Kuala Lumpur Open, the third leg of the TennisMalaysia National Circuit, beating Darrshan Suresh Kumar in the final at the National Tennis Centre on 2 August. It was his first KL Open title, and he told Bernama the win meant a lot because he had not played at home for some time.

The two reports of the final give different scores, so we have not repeated one here; see the sources below.

In the women’s draw, 16-year-old Daania Daniella Abdul Hazli of the Federal Territories won the singles title with a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Iman Syuhada Abdullah. She then partnered Sharifah Elsa Wan Abdul Rahman to the women’s doubles title, beating Iman and Adani Raihan 6-4, 6-3.

Darrshan had consolation in the men’s doubles, winning the title with Koay Hao Sheng against Louis Tan and Shaun Tung, 6-4, 6-3.

Several of the finalists went straight on to the SUKMA tennis competition later in August. Daania described the KL Open as a good warm-up, since most of the players would also be competing at SUKMA.
