Daania Hazli sweeps two titles at the 2026 Tennis National Circuit

Junior Daania Daniella Hazli enjoyed a standout week at the opening leg of the 2026 Tennis National Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, claiming both the women’s Open singles and doubles titles in a competitive senior field.

Her route to the singles final showed both grit and control. In the quarter-finals she came through a three-set test against her SEA Games teammate and regular doubles partner Hannah Yip Seen Ean, 6-0, 2-6, 6-2, before producing a commanding semi-final win over Adani Raihan Azhari, 6-1, 6-1.

The final pitted her against national women’s No. 1 Elsa Wan in a gripping, roughly three-hour contest. Daania took the opening set 7-5, conceded the second 3-6, then regrouped to close out the decider 6-3 for her first women’s Open singles title.

Winning an open singles title against senior opposition was a clear marker of her progress. With the National Circuit leg complete, her schedule pointed back to the international junior game, with ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors (Under-18) events in Singapore next up.
